VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Are you interested in joining the Yamhill County Search and Rescue Team?
 

Do you like being in the outdoors?
Do you want to volunteer your time to help the community?
 

If the answer to these questions is yes, then contact us or stop by the Sheriff's Office to pick up an application.

Our meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of Each month.

Normally the meetings are at the Public Works Building on Lafayette Avenue in McMinnville at 7pm.

 

Minimum Requirements:
1. Must be 18 years old.
2. Not convicted of any serious crime.
3. Able to give your time.

YCSO Volunteer Application

Application Process:
1. Written application submitted and reviewed by the Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue Coordinator
2. Background check is conducted.
3. Interview Scheduled with the Search and Rescue Board
4. Scheduled interview with Sheriff Crabtree.
6. Attend Monthly SAR Meeting
7. Attend Search and Rescue Training Academy (Held once a year)
